Would you take a position at an evangelical school...?

Apparently, you didn't tell them much about yourself, or I would be surprised that they made you an offer. I was in the running for a science teaching position at a very fundie school once and was rejected because I answered their questions honestly about evolution and how I fit it into my belief system. As a mystical Christian, I accept evolution and all other science and reject the young earth interpretation of Genesis, and this would not do for them. Anyway, to answer the question, I would take it if it is offered. A job is a job, and hunting for one these days is not easy. I wish I could find a teaching post for the coming year. You won't really encounter much in the way of "spiritual counseling" and you should be able to BS your way through the rest of it.
