How do I repair a small slice in my Suede couch?

It's about an inch long. It's just a small cut on the front cushion. I can't flip it over and I don't want to put an ugly patch on it. I want to fix this myself cause I can't just take a huge sectional to a shop. Thanks for your help!!!!
