I have had the same fast food job for a year and a half and have never even gotten a review let alone a raise.?

My employer also doesn't throw away any food that has reached it's 'use by' date. We are always having problems with our walk-in cooler to where everything (mostly chicken!) get's thawed to room temp but he still makes us use it. In this town, I don't have many (if any) options for jobs so I'm having to deal with it for now. But aren't most if not all of these things illegal?
