Special needs trust.?

if a person pes away and he has an estate meaning his home and cars, the money that he has in his bank his daugther is the beneficary but the banks call it the p.o.d. payable upon death,but the exectior of his estate is not named his beneficary will she the daugther have any problem when this happens getting her money.
