What is going on in the World?

Something is happening in the world. In the period of two months, three major earthquakes have hit (Haiti, Japan and Chile). After the quake hit Chile on February 27, islands miles away are on Tsunami warning. They expect a Tsunami to hit Hawaii at 4:00 PM (Eastern Time). A wave already hit the French Polynesians and it was 6 feet tall. What is going on with the world?
