When is Jesus ever called Emanuel?

In light of the Mary and the virgin birth of Jesus idea, how do Christians make sense of this verse, “Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel...” (Matthew 1:23). Jesus is not called Emanuel. People do not say, " In Emanuel's name, Amen". What's the story here?
