Does anyone know what these are called?

If any of you grew up in the 70s-80s or before~ Do you remember the window ornaments your mom or grandma put up around the holidays, you know the ones that looked like they were made up of tons of little pieces of plastic (almost like shavings) all melted together to form either a Santa Clause or a Turkey etc Based on the holiday~
